InterLED Lighting have worked closely with the automotive industry for several years. As a result a specifically designed lighting system has been developed for body shop repair facilities. The TrayLED system has been successfully installed for numerous clients and has proven to be a class-leading solution for manufacturer audited sites.
TrayLED Bodyshop Lighting System
The TrayLED system is our solution for upgrading to a premium body shop lighting system most suited to audited sites where high lux levels are a standard requirement. Specified levels for audited sites are usually 500 – 1000 LUX.
Plug and Play is becoming an integral part of our installation process as it reduces time and cost. Having the plug and play system incorporated into our fittings allows more versatility as non-electrical personnel can be employed to move the fittings as required to suit any alterations. The system also incorporates 4-core cabling throughout to accommodate your emergency lighting in any position along the cable tray layout.
We understand the needs of operatives working under high output lighting. We have incorporated a micro-prismatic diffuser which has been designed to minimise shadowing, reduce glare and provide uniformity in working car bays.
interLED can provide a complete lighting design service to establish the correct amount of fittings and position of lights to achieve your audited lighting levels.
We can supply the complete system delivered to site for your electrical contractor to install or alternatively, we can provide a complete supply and installation service. Regardless of the option you choose, you will receive full telephone or on-site support if required.
We offer a 1 Year warranty on all parts and labour and the remaining 4 years warranty on parts only. This product has a lifespan of 50,000 hours which depending on the period of use would equate to around 10 years. If warranty replacements are required, they can be easily replaced by non-electrical personnel using the plug & play system.
LED Boards & Drivers
interLED have designed and developed a unique LED Board and Driver set for the use in Spray Booth applications where typically high lux requirements are specified. We have been providing this system with great success for over 8 years to some of the UK’s Leading Spray Booth Manufacturers.
In the design of the board interLED have utilised an aluminium substrate which has been thermally designed to act as a heat sink for the LED Chips, thus prolonging the life of the components and allowing greater scope in retro-fit applications. LED Chips on traditional PCB Boards should not be placed within an existing housing or a fitting designed for use with fluorescent lamps. This may appear to be an inexpensive option at the outset, but will cause the LED’s to overheat resulting in a rapid drop in luminous flux and early failure.
The LED board set comprises of 2 led boards and a single LED power supply driver. Our customers usually install the boards within their existing booth lighting housing. The boards are 595mm long to facilitate accommodation intro most existing booth lighting systems. For optimum performance and reduction of glare we recommend the booth manufacturer installs a toughened frosted glass diffuser in front of the LED boards. The LED driver should be sited outside of the booth.
